The spring weather is absolutely glorious at the moment here in Queensland.  With slightly cool mornings warming up to bright, sunny days, it's the perfect opportunity to get outside and work in the garden.  This is the first yellow rose of the season.

Texture Tuesday - My Fav eDition

Roses would be one of my favourite flowers. This one is from my garden.

I used Kim's Faved Texture with a Hue/Saturation adjustment and a blend mode of Pin Light at 65% opacity.

Beyond Layers - Just Enough

I tried to keep this one simple. Although I was aiming for a light background, the darker one felt right.
