Capture Your 365 - Week 6

Day 33 - A Silhouette    Outline | Shape | Profile

My plan for the prompt was to wait for sunset and capture a nature photo outside. Well, sunset came and went and I totally forgot to take a picture. I decided to use the television as the light source, so we plugged in the Wii and I captured a silhouette of my son playing a game.

Day 34 - Soft    ?

No descriptions arrived for the prompt today. But there were plenty of ideas.

I decided to go with my favourite make up brush. Nice and soft.

Day 35 - Heartwarming    Uplifting | Touching | Moving

Beau playing hide and seek amongst the clothes.

Day 36 - From The Top    The Apex | From Above | Looking In

When I got a chance to take this photo it was windy and had started to rain. But I persisted and managed to get one keeper.

Looking down onto a rock daisy flower. These tiny purple and yellow flowers are 10 mm in size when fully opened.

Day 37 - Shadows    Shaded | Dark | Cast

It was overcast all day so I had to try something indoors.

We tied some string across the kitchen to hold the whisk, turned out the lights and used a torch to create the shadows.

Day 38 - Old School    Retro | Vintage | Traditional

The photo in the prompt inspired me to find some old school toys. I found a Rubik's Cube.

To get the effect, I placed the cube on a shiny board and stuck a large piece of Blu Tack in the centre to hold it up at an angle.

Day 39 - Hand Tinted    Changed | Processed | A Little Color Added

This is a flower from a Bottle Brush tree in my garden.

I processed the image in Photoshop CC by adding a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer as well as a Brightness/Contrast adjustment layer and played around with the sliders until I found the look I was after.
