Day 19 - Abandoned Cast Off | Neglected | Dumped
Beau waiting at home while his best mate recuperates in the vet hospital.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 50mm f1.4 Settings: ISO 2500, f7.1, 1/100 sec.
Day 20 - Upset Unhappy | Troubled | Tip Over
No one in our household wanted to get a photo taken today so I had to get creative and be the model. I set up a chair in front of a window, put the camera on a set of drawers, set the timer to 10 second delay and then jumped in the frame.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EFS 18-200mm f3.5-5.6 @18mm Settings: ISO 4000, f5.6, 1/80 sec.
Day 21 - In A Bowl Breakfast | A Snack | Decor
A bowl of fresh fruit and vegetables adds a pop of colour to the kitchen.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 50mm f1.4 Settings: ISO 400, f8.0, 1/100 sec.
Day 22 - Eight An Address | Written | On A Car
I was trying to find an object around the house that looked like a number eight when I found these toggle bolts above my son's punching bag.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 50mm f1.4 Settings: ISO 400, f4.5, 1/250 sec.
Day 23 - Umbrella Protection | Oversight | Under Cover
We haven't had much rain over the last few weeks so I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the prompt. Then the rain poured down for the whole afternoon. I took out my umbrella and photographed the raindrops sitting on top.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 100mm f2.8L macro Settings: ISO 400, f4.0, 1/1000 sec.
Day 24 - Fresh Air Scented | Clean | Outside
My plan was to go outside to photograph the beautiful gum trees in my garden. But then I saw all these wonderful raindrops glistening in the sun. So I went inside and changed lenses to my macro lens. If you look closely you can see the gum trees in the raindrops.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 100mm f2.8L macro Settings: ISO 400, f4.0, 1/1000 sec.
Day 25 - Caring Connection | Friendship | Family
My son and his puppy.

Capture Your 365 - Week 3
Day 12 - Footprints Trail | Track | Impressions
My first attempts at footprints just weren't working. So, if at first you don't succeed, try LEGO. There was plenty of afternoon sun pouring into the front doorway. So I created a puddle of water, dipped the LEGO characters in and created footprints. Then I posed them to look like they had just run through the water.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 50mm f1.4 Settings: ISO 250, f3.2, 1/3200 sec.
Day 13 - An Encouraging Word One Little Word | Written | In Print
One of my favourite scrapbooking papers. I keep coming back to photograph this.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 100mm f2.8L macro Settings: ISO 1250, f3.2, 1/500 sec.
Day 14 - Yummy Dessert | Something Sweet | Chocolate
I decided to buy the kids a treat when grocery shopping. Sadly, they did not survive after this shot was taken. Yummy!
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 50mm f1.4 Settings: ISO 1250, f3.2, 1/400 sec.
Day 15 - In The Air Action | Look Up | Clouds
The moon at 8:30pm.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EFS 18-200mm f3.5 - 5.6 @ 200mm Settings: ISO 100, f5.6, 1/250 sec.

Reserved an appointment for my puppy.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 100mm f2.8L macro Settings: ISO 500, f3.5, 1/100 sec.
Day 17 - Knobby Gnarled | Lumpy | Rough
I was taking a photo of some knobby parts of a tree where some branches had been removed. To my surprise there was an exoskeleton of an insect left behind.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 100mm f2.8L macro Settings: ISO 640, f5.6, 1/250 sec.
Day 18 - Pose Stance | Attitude | Posture

Morning Dew
Capture Your 365 - Days 7 to 11
Day 7 - Natural Treasure Loved | Not Artificial | Outside
The first thought that came to mind when I saw the topic 'Natural Treasure' was flowers. So I tried to find a flower that stood out from the rest. This flower is from the tree Buckinghamia celsissima, which is more commonly known as the Ivory Curl Tree. The Ivory Curl Tree has long, creamy, curved flowers that are quite popular with the lorikeets and bees. It is native to Queensland, Australia.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 100mm f2.8L macro Settings: ISO 1250, f5.6, 1/1000 sec.
Day 8 - Blue A Crayon | The Colour | The Sky
My blue nail polish. This one was taken late in the afternoon in a little corner of my bathroom so I could get some light. Being school holidays, my assistants (I mean kids) were playing with friends, so I had to set up this one myself - nail polish in one hand and very heavy camera with macro lens in the other.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 100mm f2.8L macro Settings: ISO 1000, f5.0, 1/125 sec.
Day 9 - Where I Stand Look Down | Include Your Feet | In Place
After my Hubby mowed the lawn, I kicked of my shoes to walk on the freshly cut grass.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 50mm f1.4 Settings: ISO 100, f3.5, 1/640 sec.
Day 10 - A Doorway Your Front Door | A Door You Use | A Place You Visit

Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 50mm f1.4 Settings: ISO 400, f3.5, 1/100 sec.
Day 11 - In Good Hands Holding | Converted | Secure
Bella and Me.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 50mm f1.4 Settings: ISO 500, f4.5, 1/640 sec.

Capture Your 365 - Days 4, 5 and 6
Day 4 - A Little Bit You | Hidden | A Little Part
I find self portraits quite challenging. This one took quite a few attempts to get right. I wanted the image to have an over-exposed look so I increased the exposure slider in Lightroom.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 50mm f1.4 Settings: ISO 400, f4.0, 1/60 sec.
Day 5 - With A Fork Just A Fork | In A Bowl | With A Spoon
I wanted to experiment a little with this shot. I linked up several forks in a row and placed them on a high gloss black board to get the reflection.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 100mm f2.8L macro Settings: ISO 6400, f10, 1/200 sec.
Day 6 - Unique
The description for the prompt didn't arrive today, so that made this a little more interesting.
A single blue bead stands out from the crowd.
At only two millimetres in size, these little guys were tricky to work with. But, after several attempts at setting up the scene (including chasing any runaway beads) I finally managed to get the shot.
Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF 100mm f2.8L macro Settings: ISO 1250, f5.6, 1/250 sec.
