The theme for Texture Tuesday this week is "Look Up".
I didn't have any recent photos which I thought would be suitable, so I went back into the archives and found a photo from January this year - Green Tree Frogs.
On this particular evening, I remember going into the backyard to get out into the cool air. We heard a noise coming from the roof. When we looked up, there were more than 20 green tree frogs looking down at us.
For this image I used the texture "Unleashed" by Kim Klassen.
“Friends, you and me... you brought another friend... and then there were three...
We started our group... our circle of friends... and like that circle... there is no beginning or end.”
What a wonderful image! I love the way they're all lined up. Makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jill. They made me smile too.
DeleteLove this shot - You could not have made it more perfect if you lined them up yourself! Yes - I agree with Prairejill ....made me smile too!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cathy.
DeleteWhat an amazing shot - wonderful!

DeleteGreat shot - it's as if they posed for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Carol. They didn't seem to mind sitting there while I took a few photos.

ReplyDeleteLove it very much...
Warm greetings, Anna :))
Thanks Anna.
DeleteNice image - I like frogs - but we don't get too many in suburban Melbourne!
ReplyDeleteStewart M - Melbourne
Thanks Stewart. The population of frogs seems to fluctuate depending on how many cane toads are around.
DeleteWhat a wonderful shot! The frogs seem to be posing for a photo.
ReplyDeleteThanks lotusleaf. These were really easy subjects to photograph. I wish all my subjects were that co-operative.
Deleteok THESE guys or gals made ME laugh. Good ol' tree frogs. I have lived in Utah most of my life but lived in Seattle for four years and we had tree frogs there. They aren't in Utah, too dry I guess. It is fun to watch them jump if... that is if ...they aren't landing on you. Great texture!
ReplyDeleteHi Renae, It's good to know we aren't the only ones who have these beautiful creatures. These frogs were jumping from the roof onto the grass. The height didn't seem to bother them. I am glad they didn't land on me, even though they are so cute.
DeleteOh my gosh~~what a surprise!! These little guys made me laugh, too! You could send this in to Cute Overload :~)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by my blog, Nikki!
I had never seen Cute Overload before. Thanks for the recommendation and for stopping by.
DeleteSometimes we're given opportunities - this was one of the times! Great capture.
