I love using textures on my photos. But what if you have a texture that you absolutely love and the colour doesn't work with the photo? You can colourize the texture to make it the colour you want.

Texture Tuesday - Kim Klassen Cafe - Gardening

I found this beautiful lavender in my parents' garden yesterday.


Details:

Background Image
Layer 1: Texture: Stained Linen; Blend Mode: Soft Light @ 75%
Layer 2: Texture: Yesteryear; Blend Mode: Soft Light @ 75%

Both textures were colourized to a purple shade.

I've just discovered the Kim Klassen Cafe. It has some great textures and tutorials. Each week there is a 'Texture Tuesday' where you can submit a photo using one of the many wonderful textures by Kim Klassen. So I thought I'd give it a try.
